It's my birthday!

Well, it's my birthday again - took long enough this time! Compared to last year, I'm also feeling much better about this one, probably since it's not tied so closely to a specific occasion. Who cares that much if you're 19, that's just another number, and that.

The only daunting thing this year round is probably that it's right in the middle of exam season. I had one yesterday, in fact I've still got two more to go. I feel a slight need to study today, but I probably won't. Besides, Millwall are playing today, and they could go up, so I'm focusing on that. Oh, and cake.

It's a bit of a weird feeling, though. This time last year, I hadn't even done my A Levels, it sort of felt like they'd never happen at the time. Almost too distant. Now, though, I'm nearing the end of my first year at uni, and I'm very much the same person I was before. It doesn't feel like it's been a year, at times it's felt like decades, but I don't mind it either way.

Even so, today also marks us being a third of the way through the year, so it's a pretty cool milestone in various different ways. The 1st January also feels a while back, it's only been four months, and I almost feel like I've changed a bit in that time, too.

Maybe I'm being too philosophical, though. Time to enjoy today!
